TODAY is Closing Ceremonies for Fowler Girls Softball League. Come out to Henry Ehlers Field today from 12:30pm-5:30pm. We will be introducing all coaches, players and teams. Playing 3 games starting at 1pm. We have food vendors, Pelicans Snowballs from Selma and more. Come out, support our girls in the last weekend of youth softball in Fowler.

Games this week were supposed to be in Selma, but due to the flooded fields, they have all been moved to Sutter Middle School in Fowler. Come out enjoy the sun and watch some softball!!

Flamingos are popping up everywhere! Have you seen any flamingos around town today?? The weather is better and they are enjoying all of the sun bathing. If you would like to send a flock make sure you get on the books soon. Next week they will begin to migrate home.

A Message From The Board Flocking season is in full swing and we have been so happy to see our furry friends bring happiness to every family’s yards they have landed on. We would like to share an unfortunate story that took place yesterday afternoon. One of our flocks were terribly vandalized; leaving them broken, smashed and kicked around at other random yards and side walks. A reminder to be kind and respect other’s belongings and properties. Thank you to the folks that brought it to our attention. It has been addressed with the party responsible for the disheartening behavior. Our hopes is that we never see this happen again so our furry friends can continue to spread joy around Fowler. Thank you, FYSL Board

Guess who’s Back!?!?!? Our beautiful feathered friends have migrated back to Fowler! They will be in town roaming the streets at night before they land in a yard and hang out for a day! If you see these fabulous flamingos please take pictures and look, but do not touch them, they are very sensitive and may get upset. We have the inside scoop! A large flock of Beautiful Pink Flamingos are heading to Fowler this weekend! Don’t be alarmed if they end up in your yard! It’s a lot of fun and all for a great cause. If you see these flamingos around town, please respect them, they don’t like to be touched, but they loved to be photographed.
